We have spoken to many brides and put
together a checklist to hopefully assist
you to keep your cool when it all seems
to much to do.

- 12 Months
Discuss
the style of wedding, number of guests
and estimate budget
Select your date,
place and time you wish to get married,
church ,parks or gardens, beach etc
Make appointments
with your minister or celebrant to
discuss requirements.
Choose your bridal
party you wish to celebrate the day
with you.
Start searching for
styles and designs of your gown, making
appointments with bridal salons and
bridal couture's to try on your selected
styles.
Research your theme
and colours to incorporate stationery,
invitations, bombonieres, flowers,
cake and table decorations.
Book appointments
with your short listed reception centres
to obtain packages on pricing and
terms and conditions - book your venue
as early as possible.
If having
live music inquire into availability
and prices and select as soon as possible
If you
have chosen a special form of transport
enquire and book date and time.
Make
appointments with a few photographers
to discuss packages available, locations
for shoots and the style of photos
you wish them to create - book early.
Research
your honeymoon destination - if travelling
overseas remember visas and passports
may be required.
Start
your tentative guest list.

Months
Make an appointment with your florist to discuss all floral arrangements required and confirm your date and time of wedding
Order wedding invitations and specific stationary including order of service, menus, place cards and thankyous etc
Decide on wedding attire for entire bridal party, order suits and gowns with your selected bridal salon, bridal couture, or hire centre.
Confirm your style of wedding cake with your selected cake decorator
Visit your local travel agent to book your honeymoon destination and discuss travel requirements - don't forget some travel agents also offer a bridal registry
Book consultations with your hairdresser and make-up artist

Months
Finalise guest list and send out invitations
Set up your bridal registry at the store you have selected
Make an appointment with your selected reception centre to confirm your menu and all other final details the venue will require from you
As details can often change confirm all bookings and arrangements that have been previously made - eg: celebrant/minister, photographer, florist, travel agent, etc

Weeks
Confirm guest list and seating arrangements with venue
Buy thank you presents for wedding party
Draft any speeches you need to make
Give florist your wedding colours and order flowers
Book appointments for hair and make-up trials
Sit down and make a summary of the days events and do a final check list
Arrange your hens/bucks parties
Book accommodation for your wedding night
Select and order wedding bands

Weeks Before
Practice and finalise speeches and order of events
Book rehearsal for wedding party
Confirm with all vendors and service providers specific details including date, times, locations and any specific requirements.
Make appointments for waxing, nails and tanning etc
Finalise all payments
The
Day Before
Ceremony rehearsal
Confirm with all involved the order of the days events and their responsibilities
Take time out to relax and pamper yourself a little
After
The Wedding
Return any hire equipment and suits
Drying of bouquets - if wanting to preserve send off to a professional in this area
Arrange dry cleaning of your gown
Don't forget to send out thank-you notes on the
return of your honeymoon
